Yogi Adityanath is Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a Bharatiya Janata Party leader. He represents Gorakhpur Urban in the state assembly and previously represented Gorakhpur in five Lok Sabhas.
Early life and education

Born in 1972, Adityanath studied science. His Legislative Council biography gives his date of birth as 5 June; the Assembly profile contains a conflicting date.

Parliament and state government

He entered the Lok Sabha in 1998 and was re-elected in 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014. He became Chief Minister in March 2017, served in the Legislative Council, and returned as Chief Minister after the 2022 assembly election.
